Jon Davis is chief executive officer and owner of the Sight & Sound Productions family of companies. He joined Sight & Sound as director of sales in 1996, advanced to executive vice president in 1999, was made president in 2001 and became CEO and owner in 2011.
Mr. Davis, who became co-owner in 2006, has grown the business through the strategic acquisition of complementary companies and technologies. He led the acquisition of Mugwump Productions (2010) and Communicate Media Technologies assets (2009), and championed acquisition of the JPG Sound assets (2009).
Today, the award-winning enterprise is one of the leading audiovisual and event production ventures in the Jacksonville area. Davis, a firm proponent of mentoring, training and development, is proud that the company uses CTS-certified technical teams trained and certified at the company's expense, a factor that distinguishes it from others in the region.
Mr. Davis is a classic entrepreneur, with more than 25 years of experience in management, audiovisual technologies and event production. He is a long-term member of TEC, pursues ongoing executive development opportunities, and has completed college-level coursework at Oakland Community College.
Both Mr. Davis and the company are actively engaged in the community. He is the president of the Jacksonville SKAL Club, a travel and hospitality organization that supports a variety of charities for children. He and his staff regularly contribute their time, talent and technology to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Jacksonville Zoo and annual Springing the Blues event.
His greatest pleasure is spending time with his wife and daughter, and he is a leading member of his church.
Tom Best - Vice President of Operations, CTS

Tom Best is vice president of operations for the Sight & Sound Productions family of companies. He joined the company in 1999 as a hotel director, and became vice president in 2005.
Mr. Best, who has more than 20 years experience in the industry, oversees day-to-day company operations and special teams for large shows and events. His major goals are to provide smooth, worry-free operations for our clients and continuously refine and improve the company's technical capacity.
Mr. Best is a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), with International Communications Industries Association (ICIA). His specialties include complex hotel audiovisual and presentation technology needs, video systems, graphics and PowerPoint presentation design and execution. He began his AV career at the Amelia Island Plantation's Resort in 1987, where he assisted in designing and opening their new conference center.
Mr. Best and his family are active in their church. He is a proud Scoutmaster for The Boy Scouts of America and an avid Florida Gators fan.
Alfredo Garcia - Vice President of Sales

Alfredo Garcia is vice president of sales for the Sight & Sound Productions family of companies. He joined our team 2005 as the marketing coordinator.
Mr. Garcia manages all day-to-day sales efforts, including the development and implementation of long-term sales plans. He works closely with national and local clients from event concept through production. His goal is to ensure the company delivers the exceptional quality and service every client expects, so they experience the unforgettable event they deserve.
Mr. Garcia has a BA in Communications and Marketing from Jacksonville University. He gained hands-on event coordination and audiovisual experience through internships, which included working with FOX Sports network during the Super Bowl 2005.
Joe Sampson - Vice President of Marketing

Joe Sampson is vice president of marketing for the Sight & Sound Productions family of companies and general manager for Mugwump Productions. Mr. Sampson joined our team in 2009.
Mr. Sampson is responsible for overseeing the day to day and long term marketing efforts for the Sight & Sound Productions family of companies. He also works toward developing new business and maintaining valuable relationships with area hotels, resorts, restaurants and venues. In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Joe is also accountable for the day to day management, operations and growth of Mugwump Productions, our event decor brand. His goal is to show Jacksonville that the Sight & Sound family of companies is the area's premeir provider of event production services and to deliver exceptional experiences for his clients!
Joe has a history of high achievement both in his academics and career. He has a background in business management and marketing consultation, and he launched a St. Augustine antiques and collectibles company in 2003, which he sold in 2006. He started his professional career at Lockheed Martin in 1999 while still in college.
Mr. Sampson received a BA in 2003 from Southeastern University. He is also an active member in Visit Jacksonville, North Florida Hotel & Lodging Association, Florida Public Relations Association and Impact Jax.
Recently, Joe was selected as one of the Jacksonville Business Journal's 40 Under 40 2011 - people under 40 years of age who are making a difference in our community, especially in business.
Dei Griffin - Business Manager

Dei Griffin is the business manager and event photographer for the Sight & Sound Productions family of companies. She joined our team as a temporary receptionist in 1997, and became business manager in 2005.
Ms. Griffin manages all day-to-day business operations and human resource functions. She is a pivotal client contact, and her goal is to ensure every client experience is not only pleasant and efficient, but that it also achieves the client's objectives.
A 1996 graduate of the University of North Florida, Ms. Griffin has a BA in Art with a specialty in photography. She often functions as the company's event photographer, and her refreshing, artistic event and wedding photographs have been lauded by Fortune 500 companies and professional wedding planners.
Ms. Griffin's love of photography and art extends into her leisure time. She is an avid reader, and she sings and gardens.
John Gornto - Director of Event Technology & Hotel Operations

John Gornto is director of event technology and hotel operations for Sight & Sound Productions. He joined our team in 1997 as an in-house manager at the Radisson Riverwalk.
Mr. Gornto helps clients analyze their meeting and event multimedia and presentation needs, then translates those needs into technology, space and staffing requirements. He collaborates with clients to create captivating effects and presentations for large and small meetings and events.
Mr. Gornto also manages the technology rental operations, and is responsible for acquiring and maintaining current, high-demand technologies for rental clients.
He developed his technology and meeting production skills as the in-house AV manager at The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, The World Golf Village Convention Center and The Lodge & Club at Ponte Vedra.
Jennifer Trent - Senior Project Manager

Jennifer Trent is a senior project manager for the Sight & Sound family of companies. She joined our team in 2006.
Mrs. Trent is responsible for creating event plans that capture the client's vision, respect the client's budget and ensure all creative, technical and staffing elements come together as planned.
Mrs. Trent has a degree in Business Management from the University of North Florida, backed by experience in event services. She is the point person for several of Sight & Sound's top clients.
Mrs. Trent has been a member of MPI since 2005. In 2008, she was included in the 20 Under 40 Planners of the Year with Biz Bash magazine and in 2009 she received the Supplier of the Year award from MPI.
Ed Edwards - Senior Project Manager

Ed Edwards is a senior project manager for the Sight & Sound family of companies. He joined our team in 2007.
As senior project manager, he creates detailed technology, meeting and event plans. His goal is to blend the client's goals, budget and vision into a well-coordinated and effectively executed meeting or event experience.
Mr. Edwards has more than 20 years experience in event production, meetings and entertainment. He has traveled extensively, and has a bachelor's degree in Music Performance and a master's degree in Biblical Studies.
Mr. Edwards is devoted to his faith, and he enjoys golfing, reading, and spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
Barbara Morrow - Senior Project Manager

Barbara Morrow is a senior project manager for the Sight & Sound family of companies. She joined Mugwump Productions in 1997 and Sight & Sound Productions in 2010.
Ms. Morrow, as senior project manager, is responsible for helping clients translate their event concept and budget into a dazzling event or wedding plan. For 13 years, she handled business development, production management, and event design, coordination and budgets at Mugwump Productions.
Ms. Morrow's interest and experience in event theme design and production dates back to college. She began her career during the 1980s and 1990s as an onsite production manager and themed event manager for the Atlanta firm, Griggs, Van Horn & Associates.
Kristen Salameh - Project Coordinator

Kristen Salameh is a Project Coordinator for Sight & Sound
Productions. She joined our team in January 2011.
Kristen is responsible for assisting the Senior Project Managers
in creating event plans that capture the client's vision, respect
the client's budget and ensure all creative, technical and staffing
elements come together as planned.
Ms. Salameh is a Jacksonville native, attending the Bolles School and receiving her degree in Marketing in 2005 from Jacksonville University.
In addition to holding leadership positions throughout her college career and in the community, Kristen also participates in various charitable organizations.
Dale Bicker - Technical Director

Dale Bicker is technical director for the Sight & Sound family of companies. He joined our team as a lighting technician in 2009 and was promoted to his current position in 2011.
Mr. Bicker is responsible for overseeing the companies' technical teams to ensure the success of each event. He works closely with the sales and project management teams to design the audio, video and lighting element of each show. Mr. Bicker also works on site to ensure successful execution in setup, in-show operation and tear-down of each event design.
Dale is a 2003 graduate of Capital University and has a wide range of experience in the production industry. He works seasonally as a pyrotechincian, shooting large 4th of July firework displays around the country. Dale was recently married and enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and rooting on the Buckeyes!
Kevin Barnes - Video Editor & Engineer, CTS

Kevin Barnes is the video editor and engineer for the Sight & Sound Productions. He joined our team in 1997.
Mr. Barnes is responsible for all video technologies, and is an expert videographer and editor. His mission is to understand the client's objectives so he can record critical meeting and presentation highpoints and capture the drama and excitement of major events.
Mr. Barnes is a Certified Technology Specialist (CTS), with more than 13 years of experience in electronic and video technologies. His career started in the US Navy, where he specialized in electrics and electronics on F-18 fighter jets.
Andre Marshall - Digital Audio Engineer

Andre Marshall is the digital media engineer for the Sight & Sound Productions. He joined our team in 2000.
Mr. Marshall provides digital audio and video delivery for meetings and events, including ongoing support for The Executive Committee (TEC) and The Jacksonville Jaguars. He has skills in audio and video editing, and he is a talented videographer with expertise in CD/DVD duplication and graphic arts.
Mr. Marshall, with more than 15 years in the industry, has worked in a range of related positions as an digital engineer, audio and video editor, duplications manager, graphic artist and production technician. He earned a Bachelor of Science from Oral Roberts University and gained additional event experience as the AV director at the Embassy Suite Hotel.

In 1987, Curt Hubbard launched Hubbard Sight & Sound to rent audiovisual equipment to local hotels and meeting facilities.
By 1999, the company had evolved from a one-man operation into an award-winning, multimillion dollar company with comprehensive audiovisual, meeting and event planning, support, technology and production services for hotels, corporations and organizations of all sizes.
To reflect the expanded scope and capacity, the company changed its name to Sight & Sound Productions in 2005. Mr. Hubbard's emphasis on exceeding expectations and delivering quality service and technology remain core values for the company and its employees.
