4th of July Celebration
The City of Jacksonville did not disappoint with their fireworks display downtown this 4th of July. Despite the rainy start to the evening, people flooded the Jacksonville Landing, Friendship Fountain, the Northbank and Southbank Riverwalk and the Main Street Bridge eager to see the firework show over the St. Johns.
The skies cleared just in time for the show that started promptly at 9:45pm and was choreographed with patriotic music that was projected for everyone to hear by Sight & Sound Productions. As the fireworks cascaded over the river the crowd cheered and gazed with enjoyment at the beautiful display of light. Another Independence Day had come to an end, but it was definitely one to remember.
