Holiday Spectacular at the St. Johns Town Center

Holiday Spectacular presented by St. Vincent’s Healthcare is a wonderful Jacksonville tradition that’s been built over the past 6 years at the St. Johns Town Center. This very special event rings in the holidays with the introduction of Santa Claus to the Center and the ceremonial lighting of their 32’ tree which is accompanied by a brilliant, choreographed fireworks display! The soft grey skies and the brisk winter air created the perfect setting for this year’s outdoor holiday event.

The day kicked off with a festival offering 60 tons of snow, 2 sledding hills, ice carving displays, letters to Santa, cupcake decorating with Sweet by Holly, holiday carolers, the Budweiser Clydesdales and numerous Town Center and community vendors. Once the sun set, anticipation really started to build during the tree-lighting ceremony. This year’s ceremony featured performances by Chris Wallace, The Ready Set and last but certainly not least, Bridgit Mendler from the Disney Channel original series, Good Luck Charlie. As the OMEGA countdown clock ticked closer to zero, the crowd chimed in to help Santa count down to lighting that beautiful tree and kicking off our dazzling fireworks display to conclude the night’s festivities and ring in the holiday season!

Sight & Sound Productions was proud to be a part of one of Jacksonville’s greatest holiday traditions by providing full-service event planning, management and production services.
