Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast- Jacksonville, Florida
The City of Jacksonville hosted the 30th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast last Friday, January 13th presented by Florida Blue. A breakfast buffet was served as the event started, letting guests enjoy their meal while networking with other individuals. Emcees Tenikka Hughes and Anthony Austin, from Action News Jax and First Coast News took to the stage with youth emcee Cara Simpson from Atlantic Coast High School to start the program and introduce the speakers for the day. The breakfast featured keynote speaker Dr. Bertice Berry; lecturer, educator, author, sociologist, entertainer, and Jacksonville University alumna; as well as the Honorable Lenny Curry, current mayor of Jacksonville.
Sight & Sound Productions provided the event production services for the breakfast which included staging, sound system, screens and projections, stage set, video, lighting, and event technicians.
